Founded in 1992, the Lebanese Association for Energy Saving and for Environment (ALMEE) is a non-political, non-profit organization dedicated to advancing sustainable energy and environmental practices in Lebanon, the Mediterranean Basin, and beyond.
For over three decades, ALMEE has worked at the intersection of science, innovation, and policy, driving forward Lebanon’s transition toward a more sustainable, low-carbon, and resource-efficient future.
Our mission is to develop, promote, and implement scientific and technical approaches that improve energy management, foster renewable energy adoption, and support the ecological transition across all sectors of society.
